Salem Communications shuffles management


CAMARILLO, Calif. -- Salem Communications Corp., a publisher and broadcaster, said Tuesday that it is restructuring its management team.

The media company, which focuses on Christian themes and conservative values, said Eric H. Halvorson will become Salem's president and chief operating officer. Halvorson is currently a director and chairs the board's audit committee.

Evan D. Masyr, vp accounting and finance, will become chief financial officer. The current CFO, David A.R. Evans, will become president of new business development for the interactive and publishing divisions.

Joe Davis, the current COO, will become president of the radio division.

The changes take effect Sunday.

CEO Edward G. Atsinger III said in a statement that he and chairman Stuart Epperson signed new three-year contracts with Salem Communications.
