'Sanctuary' has good start for Sci Fi

New series topped primetime cable entertainment Friday

Sci Fi Channel's new series "Sanctuary" got off to a good start Friday night.

"Sanctuary," the first TV series to use live-action actors against virtual sets, averaged 2.7 million total viewers at 9-11 p.m. Friday.

The show was the most-watched primetime cable entertainment program of the night among adults 25-54 (1.4 million) and No. 4 among adults 18-49 (1.1 million).
