Hello Kitty Shades Give New Meaning to the Cat-Eye Look

Sanrio and Crap Eyewear collaborate on limited-edition sunglasses.

Sanrio and Crap Eyewear have taken cat-eye frames to a new level, collaborating on limited-edition sunglasses inspired by Hello Kitty.

Released July 10, the collection features several styles that have the Sanrio character in mind, including The Hanoi Weekend, which features her signature red bow and a gold charm logo; The Wild Gift, a pastel pink design with gold; and The Love Tempo, a blue 1960s mod look.

The sunglasses, which are paired with a custom print zipper case, retail for $76 each and are available at Crap Eyewear and Sanrio.

L.A.-based Crap Eyewear has done other limited-edition collaborations in the past with such brands as X-Girl and FTP.
