Sarah Michelle Gellar is a mom again.
The actress has welcomed a baby boy with husband Freddie Prinze Jr., a rep confirms to The Hollywood Reporter. The news was first reported by Us Weekly.
"Sarah Michelle and Freddie Prinze Jr. are thrilled to announce that they welcomed a baby son into the world this past week," the rep said in a statement, adding, "mother and baby are doing great."
The newborn is the second child for the couple. Daughter Charlotte, 3, is "VERY excited to be a big sister," said the rep.
Gellar, 35, and Prinze, 36, met in 1997 on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer. They wed in Mexico on Sept. 1, 2002, in a ceremony officiated by Adam Shankman. The couple later co-starred once again in the 2002 film Scooby-Doo and its 2004 sequel, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
Gellar most recently starred on the CW drama Ringer, which was canceled after its first season. In the series, Gellar played twin sisters.
