Sarah Palin throws 'DWTS' party for Bristol

VIDEO: Watch Bristol's debut on the ABC show

Sarah Palin was a no-show at the Los Angeles premiere of "Dancing With the Stars."

But she rooted her daughter, Bristol, on from her home in Wasilla, Alaska.

"Over-the-moon excited and happy for Bristol! Cheering her on @ DWTS party in the Palin living room," Twittered the former Alaska Governor, along with a photo of a group of family and friends watching the show.

Bristol, who hit the floor with partner Mark Ballas, said she chose her song, Three Dog Night's "Momma Told Me Not to Come," as a sign of rebellion against her mother. She started off her routine in a suit like her mom would wear, and ripped it off to reveal a red fringed dress. She scored an 18.

Winning the night was "Dirty Dancing's" Jennifer Grey, who, along with her partner, Derek Hough, received a score of 24.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his partner Karina Smirnoff bombed with just 15. Sniffed judge Len Goodman: "He's got the guns, but not the ammunition." (His iTune app, on the other hand, is in the top 10 grossing apps, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively revealed Monday.)
