Sarah Ramos Joins the Cast of Indie ‘Predisposed’ (Exclusive)

She will star alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Melissa Leo in the drama about a drug addict mother and her piano prodigy son.

Sarah Ramos, one of the stars of Parenthood, will be indisposed for part of her hiatus with indie movie Predisposed.

Ramos will star with Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo and Tracy Morgan in Phil Dorling’s drama, being produced by Ron Nyswaner, Neta Armian and Peter Stering.

The movie focuses on a drug addict mother (Leo) and her piano prodigy son (Eisenberg), as she prepares to enter rehab and he into Julliard.  Ramos will play the girl who garners the affections of Eisenberg's character. (Morgn is playing a hapless drug dealer named Sprinkles.)

The movie, being financed by BCDF Pictures, is due to start shooting next month in New York City. Brice Dal Farra, Claude Dal Farra and Lauren Munsch of BCDF are also producing.

Ramos is best known for playing Haddie Braverman, the daughter of Monica Potter and Peter Krause in Parenthood. The show just got picked up for a third season.
