'Sarah' tops o'seas; spring goes quietly

The temperature at the international boxoffice was cool during the weekend with the comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" emerging No. 1 with an estimated $7 million.

The spring season went out with a whimper as mid-80s temperature held down attendance in many European markets. But things will change this week with Paramount's "Iron Man" kicking off the summer blockbuster season.

Tied for second place on the weekend with $6.2 million each were Sony's "21" and Fox's "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" Fox's police drama "Street Kings" finished No. 3 and Warners' "Fool's Gold" was fourth with $5.1 million. (partialdiff)
