Sarah Turner promoted at Warners

In newly created role, she'll focus on transition to digital

Sarah Turner has been upped to the newly created position of vp, operations and planning, Warner Bros. Technical Operations.

She previously held the position of executive director, North America, worldwide piracy operations. In her new role, Turner will establish business plans and define resource requirements for the studio's film, television and home video products worldwide as these operations make the transition from physical to digital delivery. She will report to Darcy Antonellis, president of Warner Bros. Technical Operations.

"Our Studio's goal of making the transition to a fully digital content environment is both exciting and challenging and requires someone who can manage the systems and delivery of that process," Antonellis said. "Sarah has shown that she has both the understanding of the larger business and technical issues, as well as a thorough knowledge of the requirements necessary to implement the changes as we migrate to a digital delivery environment."

Turner joined Warners in 2006. Previously, she was a project manager for Strategic Vision Consulting, where she worked with Warner Bros. and other entertainment companies on anti-piracy initiatives, technical operations, rights management and digital asset management.
