Is this 'Saturday Night Live's' new Obama?

Watch new castmate Jay Pharoah's dead-on impression

Could "Saturday Night Live" have found a new President Barack Obama impersonator?

One of the four newest castmembers, Jared "Jay Pharoah" Farrow -- the first African American to join the show since Kenan Thompson started in 2003 -- does a spot-on impression. Watch below.

So will he replace Fred Armisen, who has received criticism for not actually being black? "I just got here," he tells The Washington Post coyly. "I'm just trying to fit in. I don't know what's going to happen." (A rep for NBC told The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed blog that Armisen will continue playing the president.)

But Pharaoh, who makes his debut (along with other newbies Taran Killam, Paul Brittain and Vanessa Bayer) on the Sept. 25 premiere hosted by alum Amy Poehler, says he's "known for impressions and family stories."

In addition to the commander in chief, the Post reports he's mastered Will Smith and Denzel Washington.
