The Fourth of July isn't a time for celebration for this concerned sausage.

This is one sausage who isn't looking forward to Independence Day.

Frank, the sausage voiced by Seth Rogen in Sony Pictures Entertainment's upcoming Sausage Party, appears in a new spoof PSA for the movie that asks viewers to "destroy your barbecue" in an effort to save a sausage.

"Fried. Boiled. Eyes gouged and head torn in half. Hi, I'm Frank, and in the time it took me to say, 'Hi, I'm Frank,' over 2 million of my friends will have expired from these unnatural causes — all because of you and your insatiable hunger for killing," he says.

He adds: "Destroy your barbecue. 'Cause remember, grills, kill…s."

The movie centers on Frank's efforts to lead a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they become chosen to leave the grocery store.

Also voicing roles in the R-rated movie are Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton and Salma Hayek.

Sausage Party is set to hit theaters Aug. 12.
