'Scandal' Star Bellamy Young Signs With UTA (Exclusive)

Scandal's Bellamy Young has signed with UTA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. She was previously with Paradigm.
When the ABC drama premiered in 2012, the actress was a recurring player whose character, Mellie Grant, was first lady of the United States. Now, in the Shonda Rhimes series' seventh and final season, Grant is the president. Young has won a Critics' Choice Television Award for the role.
She also will be seen on the big screen in Disney's A Wrinkle in Time, which is set to bow March 9. Young's previous credits include CBS' Criminal Minds and ABC's Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. The Yale Drama graduate made her Broadway debut in the 1997 musical The Life.
