Schiaparelli Names New Design Director
Betrand Guyon is making the move from Valentino.
Schiaparelli — the haute couture label that Cate Blanchett wore to this year's Spirit Awards — has found its new design director: Bertrand Guyon, the current couture designer at Valentino.
Guyon, who will be responsible for both ready-to-wear and couture collections, is presenting his first collection for Schiaparelli during July's Paris Couture Week, reports WWD. Guyon replaces Marco Zanini, who departed the fashion house in November.
As a seasoned couture designer with past experiences at Givenchy and Christian Lacroix, Guyon should fit in just fine at Schiaparelli.
