Scott Elrod Starring in Baseball Drama 'Home Run'

Scott Elrod is starring  in the independent feature Home Run, playing a professional baseball player with a substance abuse problem who finds redemption coaching a Little League team.

David Boyd is directing the drama, written by Melanie Wistar, Brian Brightly, Eric Newman and Candace Lee, which is filming in Oklahoma. Carol Matthews is serving as producer and exec producer, with Tom Newman as exec producer and co-producer for Current C Creative and Impact Productions.

Elrod, who is repped by Global Artists and Vicent Cirrincione Associates, recently completed a role in Ben Affleck’s hostage tale Argo.
