Scream Queens' Diego Boneta has signed with UTA, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. He was previously with Gersh.

The actor played barista/newspaper editor Pete, the love interest of final girl Grace (Skyler Samuels), in season one of the Fox horror comedy. On the big screen, Boneta recently appeared in the Brian Grazer-produced biopic Pele: Birth of a Legend, which premiered last month at the Tribeca Film Festival. He also co-starred alongside Nate Parker in the indie survival thriller Eden, which was based on a story from the Birth of a Nation filmmaker and was released by Vertical last September.

Boneta's next films are sci-fi indie The Titan, opposite Sam Worthington, and Awesomeness Films' Before I Fall, starring Zoey Deutch and directed by Ry Russo-Young.

The actor's big break was landing the lead in Adam Shankman's movie adaptation of musical Rock of Ages for New Line. Boneta had previously recurred on The CW's 90210 and ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, as well as in the Mexican telenovela Rebelde. His other TV credits include The CW's Jane the Virgin, CBS' The Dovekeepers miniseries and a starring role on the MTV ensemble dramedy Underemployed.

As a recording artist, Boneta is signed to Sony Music U.S. Latin and released his latest single, "Ur Love," earlier this year.

He continues to be repped by manager Josh Glick at Grandview and attorney Gretchen Rush at Hansen Jacobson.
