Sean Hannity Mocked for "President Clinton" Slip During Fox News Show

The host made the gaffe, which has been skewered mercilessly on social media, during what he described as "one of the most important monologues" he will ever give on his show.

It seems the Russia scandal is getting to Sean Hannity.

The Fox News host made an embarrassing slip on the Monday edition of his show, describing Hillary Clinton as "President Clinton" in what he described as "one of the most important monologues" of his career. Unsurprisingly, the slip quickly went viral on social media, and the mockery was relentless.

On the day a federal grand jury indicted three members of the Trump campaign, a somber Hannity opened his show railing against the "unequal justice" and questioned the probity of Robert Mueller and his special counsel investigation.

Before too long, Hannity was back to attacking Clinton with vim and vigor, and just over three minutes in he slipped and asked, "What did President Clinton, or, uh, President Clinton wannabe," know about the Uranium One deal that he has been pushing relentlessly as a possible Democratic Party scandal?

Though he tried to style out his stumble, the internet had noticed. Many pointed out that it fit with the joke that Fox News was more comfortable pretending that Clinton was in the White House, something the former Secretary of State herself has joked about.
