Sean Kingston 'Sedated but Fully Conscious'
In critical condition after a scary jet ski accident, the hip hop star "is aware of what is going on around him," says his spokesperson.
Sean Kingston -- who remains in critical condition in the ICU following a scary weekend jet ski crash - "is aware of what is going on around him" and "is sedated but fully conscious," his spokesperson tells MTV News.
Kingston was operating a jet ski in Miami Beach early Sunday evening when the watercraft collided with the Palm Island Bridge.
Serena Williams, who visited at Jackson Memorial Hospital Tuesday, Tweeted: "I am thankful that I have today. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. I'm gonna make every day the best I can. #loveuSeankingston."
Meanwhile, in a new TMZ interview, Kingston’s jet ski passenger is recounting what happened just before the accident.
Cassandra Sanchez tells the site Kingston was driving "really fast" when he crashed into the bridge. "Both jet skis pulled out of the dock at the same time and we were going so fast we just blasted past them,” she says. “When we turned a corner and crashed ... they were so far behind us they didn't even see us crash."
After, Sanchez says Kingston "was coughing up blood, foam and pink stuff.” When he opened his eyes, she says he kept repeating, "I'm hurting. I'm hurting."
Says Sanchez, "They have a tube down his throat so he can't really talk, but he is lucid and understands what's going on."
