The royal palace said that the princess got a 41 royal gun salute in Hyde Park Monday, which also drew TV and other news coverage on the bank holiday.

On Sunday, networks in Britain reported on how Prince Charles, his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, the Middleton parents and sister Pippa Middleton visited the newborn. The royal palace confirmed the visits on Twitter.
