'Seinfeld' Emoji May Be Coming Soon

Forty-two show-related pictographs, including ones of Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer, will soon hit iPhones everywhere.

It was bound to happen: Seinfeld emoji are headed your way.

The creator, Jason Richards — who's behind the popular @Seinfeld2000 Twitter account (aka "Seinfeld Current Day"), which tweets updates as if the NBC sitcom had never been canceled — revealed that a 42-emoji set may be available "soon."

Intended to be a free iOS set, it includes Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer, along with other quintessential Seinfeld-related emoji — like Junior Mints, the puffy shirt and the main diner hangout — which can be seen on SeinfeldEmoji.com.

Shahruz Shaukat, who helped develop them with Richards and Kevin McCauley, teased the news Tuesday, hinting at the possible arrival of the emoji set.

The timing couldn't be better: Seinfeld recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its debut.

It also was announced in June that more than 250 new emoji would be added, including the middle finger.
