SET joins HK's now TV lineup

Sony channel to appear on PCCW network

HONG KONG -- Sony Entertainment Television will join the 160-channel lineup of Hong Kong IPTV platform now TV on July 29, parent channel SPE Networks Asia announced Tuesday.

SET will provide English-language women's programming including drama series "Cashmere Mafia," reality series "Top Chef" and "So You Think You Can Dance."

Now TV is a subsidiary of Hong Kong's largest local telecom company, PCCW. Singapore-based SPE Networks Asia also owns cable channels AXN, AXN Beyond and Animax.
