Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers has been booked as the headliner for the 2011 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. The event takes place April 30 at the Washington D.C. Hilton.

WHCA president David Jackson said, "Seth is very smart, very sharp and a very funny observer of the political scene, and we're looking forward to seeing him on April 30."

Meyers is currently in his tenth season on Saturday Night Live, where he has anchored "Weekend Update" and has been the show's head writer for five seasons.

Past keynote speakers at the White House dinner have included Jay Leno, who poked fun at President Barack Obama earlier this year, Stephen Colbert and Craig Ferguson.
