Seville picks up comedy, thriller

TORONTO -- Montreal-based distributor Seville Pictures on Tuesday said it has picked up the Canadian rights to French director Raphael Fejto's "L'Age de L'Homme" and Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's "El Rey De La Montana," a thriller from Spain.

Romain Duris starrer "L'Homme" is a comedy about a hardened bachelor who gives himself a day to decide whether to break up with a partner he believes wants to dump him. UGC International handled international sales on the film, which will be released theatrically in France in September.

Seville purchased "Montana" from Paris-based Coach 14. The thriller about a man and a woman lost in the forest and pursued a group of young killers bowed in Cannes.
