Shania Twain Falls at CMT Awards (Video)

Shania Twain CMT Awards 2011

The country singer takes a spill while making her way to the stage to present the best male video of the year award.

Shania Twain took a spill at Wednesday night's CMT Awards.

As she was making her way to the stage to introduce the nominees for best male video of the year, the country singer slipped in her heels and caught herself in a way that she landed on her knees.
Once she took the stage, she seemed a bit flustered but laughed it off. And the audience gave her their support by continuing to applaud and cheer her during her introduction.
(The award, incidentally, went to no-show Blake Shelton for his "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking." See who else won awards here.)
Earlier in the day, Twain announced that she had signed a deal for a two-year residency at the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.
