Sheridan is at center of 'Conspiracy'
Empty"Invasion" co-star Lisa Sheridan has been tapped as the lead in the Lifetime drama pilot "Conspiracy," lifting the contingency on the project.
"Conspiracy," from Fox TV Studios, centers on a young Washington lawyer (Sheridan) who, after winning a highly publicized case for a large pharmaceutical company, realizes she was given falsified documents and that her client was guilty. As she seeks the truth and puts her life in danger, she learns that her prestigious law firm is the enemy and the conspiracy is much bigger than the initial case.
Fox TV Studios-based producer Gary Randall is executive producing the pilot with the project's writer, Tim Bogart.
Sheridan played local television reporter Larkin Groves on ABC's critically praised "Invasion." Her series credits also include Fox's "FreakyLinks."
She is repped by TalentWorks, the Burstein Co. and attorneys James Mandelbaum and Marcy Morris.
