'Shotgun Love' to Load in Seoul

Korea-Canada Co-Production to Shoot on Location in Korean Capital

SEOUL – Shotgun Love, a co-production between Seoul-based WE Pictures and Vancouver-based Seoul Sisters, will be shot in Seoul.

The film, a feature debut by the Korean director Rain Jung, is the first-ever co-production between Korea and Canada, with the Canadian side providing 22% of the film’s US $1.6 million budget. The film’s shooting will be wrapped later this month and released in early 2011 by Lotte Entertainment.

Shotgun Love is a comedy about a 30-something man stuck in a dead-end job as a home-shopping model. He is about to marry a girl of his dreams only to learn that she's pregnant with his child. The film’s international sales are handled by M-Line. The film stars Korean actors Im Chang-jung (Sisily 2km) as the lead and co-stars Kim Gyuri (Portrait of a Beauty).
