Showtime's New 'Roadies' Trailer Goes Backstage With Luke Wilson

The Cameron Crowe-J.J. Abrams series stars Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and Rainn Wilson.

Cameron Crowe is taking his renowned skills from film to the small screen to join Lost’s J.J. Abrams for Showtime’s upcoming music series, Roadies, premiering on June 26.

The duo will be joined by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Winnie Holzman (My So-Called Life) to bring the tales of those behind the scenes of music’s biggest tours to light.

The musically infused comedy, the director's first foray into television, is said to be an extension of Crowe’s 2000 hit, Almost Famous. The show highlights the various lives of a tight-knit group of rock-band roadies, featuring the likes of Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and a recurring role by The Office alum Rainn Wilson.

In the latest trailer for the series, Crowe and Abrams give us a closer look into the cast dynamics, possible love triangles, a gun going off and all else that can go wrong while on tour with a major rock band.
