Sierra Pictures, Affinity International Launch New Foreign Sales Company

Marking a major move on the foreign sales front, Sierra Pictures and Affinity International are coming together to form a new venture, with Sierra taking over all titles previously handled by Affinity.

The new entity -- Sierra/Affinity -- will represent third party product, as well as serve as exclusive sales agent for films from OddLot Entertainment, Bold Films, Sierra Pictures and Sierra partner Incentive Filmed Entertainment.

Sierra's Nick Meyer will serve as CEO of Sierra/Affinity, while his partner Marc Schaberg will be COO and CFO.

OddLot's Gigi Pritzker and Bold Films' Michel Litvak will serve on the board of Sierra/Affinity with Meyer.

Affinity, led by Brian O'Shea, was the sales company formed by OddLot and Bold.

"The creation of Sierra/Affinity offers the marketplace a new world class sales organization that is primed to represent third party product as well as films developed produced and financed both jointly and independently from Sierra, OddLot and Bold," said Meyer.

Litvak and Pritzker said Sierra/Affinity will be at the "forefront of the international sales marketplace."

Sierra/Affinity will operate out of offices located in Beverly Hills. The operating and executive structure will be announced in the coming weeks.

Sierra will separately maintain its White Knuckle production arm, which, in partnership with Brett Ratner, produces action/thrillers. Sierra/Affinity will handle White Knuckle titles.

Sierra also will act as sales rep for Quickdraw, a joint production label formed by OddLot, Bold and Robert Rodriguez.
