The "American Idol" creator lists his home for $21.5 million.
Simon Fuller, creator of the Idol franchise, including American Idol in the U.S., has put his Beverly Hills home on the market for $21.5 million. According to real estate blog Redfin, The English artist manager and television producer, who is also the co-creator and executive producer of So You Think You Can Dance, purchased the estate for $8.5 million in 2005.
Located on a cul de sac, the walled and gated property includes five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, and sits on almost an acre of land. Included in the 10,000-square-foot, contemporary home is a dramatic circular staircase, gourmet kitchen, screening room, modern Italian gym and wine cellar with a tasting room. Vast terraces overlook a Marmol Radziner-designed pool with the mountains in the background.
