The territory will be represented by the Media Development Authority of Singapore and the International Enterprise Singapore in addition to 14 companies from the country.

A half-day conference with MIPTV on April 12 will focus on Singapore's media and internationalization strategy for content development worldwide. Reps from the country will also speak about the rapidly expanding developments in Stereoscopic 3D technology and a detailed case study on April 14 will focus on Singapore's state-of-the-art 3D equipment and manpower.

The MIPTV events will emphasize the Singapore Media Fusion Plan, which aims to hone the country's media industry for future growth via government-to-government partnerships and treaties with key countries across the globe including Canada, Korea, New Zealand and Australia.

Other "Country of Focus" activities set to animate the Riviera include a VIP lunch and an evening networking event where leading producers from Singapore can schmooze with market attendees and hopefully spark co-production, animation and 3D stereoscopic project deals.

This year's MIPTV runs April 12-16 in Cannes.
