Slash Slashes His L.A. Mansion Price by $1M (Photos)
After toning down some of the more eccentric design elements, the Guns N' Roses lead guitarist re-listed the home on Clerendon Road for $9.5 million.
Top hat-wearing Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash is having to do just that — slash — the price of his rock 'n' roll-style mansion in the hills by $1 million. The rocker was also forced to tone down some of the more eccentric design elements on offer to appeal to a more mainstream buyer (as shown in the photos below). After being pulled from the market for several months, the one-of-a-kind mansion now is listed for $9.5 million.
In June 2015, the 11,000-square-foot Tuscan villa-style home on Clerendon Road hit the market for nearly $11 million. The guitarist then lopped half a million dollars off the price, only to find himself still without any serious bids. The house was then taken off the market and re-listed Aug. 24.
The three-story home includes six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a swimming pool with an outdoor bar, a skate ramp and large kitchen with double islands. The master bedroom includes a large walk-in closet, as well as paneled walls that double as storage space along with canyon views.
The home’s lower level features a nightclub replete with a DJ booth, LED lights, a pole-dancing pole and a photo booth. There is a professional recording studio with a vocal booth, as well as a screening theater and wine cellar.
A number of the home's recent aesthetic changes can be seen in the side-by-side images below. The slideshow show at the end shows the house in its current state.
