Smattering of sales at San Sebastian

SAN SEBASTIAN, Spain -- A number of sales trickled in Friday as the 55th annual San Sebastian International Film Festival wound to a close.

Argentina's Primer Plano bought Argentine rights to both of Wayne Wang's titles in the official lineup: competition title "A Thousand Years of Good Prayers" and Zabaltegi section entry "The Princess of Nebraska." Primer Plano also picked up Sven Taddicken's "Emma's Gluck."

Brazil's Providence Filmes bought Hans Weingartner's "Reclaim Your Brain," about a TV producer's efforts to sculpt society by investigating the audience measurement system that keeps intelligence-insulting programming at No. 1.

Poland's AP Manana acquired rights to the 2006 San Sebastian Golden Shell winner, "Half Moon" by Bahman Ghobadi.
