'Part Timers' will star Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox as employees of a pizzeria that is past its prime.

YouTube has set the premiere for its original series from comedy duo Smosh.

Scripted comedy Part Timers will debut Jan. 11 on the ad-supported streaming service.

Smosh creators Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox star in Part Timers as the employees of Pork E. Pine's, a popular pizzeria and arcade that is past its prime. The series chronicles the adventures of the group of misfit employees as they navigate the world of the kids' restaurant business, having the best time ever working at the worst job ever.

"Anthony and Ian have entertained millions of fans around the world with their unique brand of humor and we're thrilled to work with them to offer this fresh and funny original scripted comedy series that gives Smosh fans more programming they will love," said YouTube head of original programming Susanne Daniels.

YouTube announced in April that it would fund a slate of original projects from creators including Smosh, The Fine Brothers and Joey Graceffa. When the streamer announced plans for its subscription streaming service, YouTube Red, in October, it revealed that some of those projects would be exclusive to subscribers of the new service. But Part Timers will be available for free on the Smosh YouTube channel and Schick Hydro has signed on as the brand partner.

With more than 35 million total YouTube subscribers across multiple channels and 17 million monthly unique visitors, Smosh is a comedy force on the platform. The brand expanded into feature-length film Smosh: The Movie over the summer.

"Ten years ago we started this incredible journey with YouTube that has allowed us to create, do what we love every day and grow Smosh beyond our wildest dreams," Padilla and Hecox said in a joint statement. "Part Timers is an important next step for us as we continue to expand creatively and build on our brand with programming that connects with our audience in new ways. We're excited to embark on this next phase."

Part Timers is executive produced by Padilla, Hecox, Blumberg, Jared Hoffman and Chris Pollack. Susan Nessanbaum-Goldberg is co-executive producing. Kate VanDevender serves as showrunner.
