'SNL' 40th Anniversary Special: Watch Prince, Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney Perform at the Afterparty
Bill Murray, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Dan Aykroyd and Jimmy Fallon, spotted dancing with Ariana Grande, also took the stage at the Plaza bash.
After Saturday Night's Live's 40th anniversary special ended, the star-studded celebration continued at New York's Plaza Hotel.
The afterparty featured even more celebs, including Beyonce, Jay Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ariana Grande and Paris Hilton, all of whom were spotted in photos and videos snapped by castmembers and others who were lucky enough to score an invite.
Musically inclined guests and SNL alumni also took to the stage for some unusual collaborations, which were captured on videos floating around on social media (and embedded below).
Prince performed "Let's Go Crazy," joined onstage by Haim, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, jamming in the background, and Martin Short, waving one arm in the air at the front of the stage.
Bill Murray and Maya Rudolph also were part of the performance.
Cuba Gooding Jr., meanwhile, jumped onstage at the end of the song.
Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Fallon and Dan Aykroyd also performed a rendition of The Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There."
Swift continued rocking out on guitar, with Fallon and McCartney, for a performance of "Shake It Off," but it looks like McCartney didn't know all of the lyrics.
Murray was spotted casually playing the tambourine at one point.
Michael Bolton also performed, with Fallon and Grande dancing onstage.
Take a look at more photos of the star-studded afterparty, which reportedly raged until 4 a.m., below, including one of the new, SNL-heavy female Ghostbusters cast.
