The 24th annual event also added a few more projects to its 2019 lineup.

The Nantucket Film Festival on Wednesday announced an all-female slate of honorees and focus for its 2019 Screenwriters Tribute.

The fest will honor Saturday Night Live writers and performers Jane Curtin, Anne Beatts, Sudi Green and Sarah Schneider with the Creative Impact in Television Award, and writer-producer Leslie Dixon will receive the Screenwriters Tribute Award, which is given to a scribe whose writing has had a distinct impact on the landscape of cinema. The honors will be handed out June 22.

Current SNL castmember Cecily Strong will present the TV award to the women from the long-running NBC sketch show, who distinguished themselves in a mostly male writers room. Brittany Snow and Nikki Blonsky, who worked on Dixon's Hairspray, will present Dixon with the screenwriters award. Dixon's credits, spanning over more than 30 years in the industry, also include Mrs. Doubtfire, The Thomas Crown Affair, Overboard and Freaky Friday.

SNL writers and performers will also participate in a comedy roundtable, and the festival has added screenings of Gillian Jacobs' narrative directorial debut Curated and the feature films Goldie, The Peanut Butter Falcon and Welcome to the Beyond.

“Over the years, the Nantucket Film Festival has always looked to honor the incredible work of the industry’s screenwriters and storytellers. This year we are thrilled to be recognizing a group of trailblazing female performers and writers whose efforts continue to leave a lasting impact on Hollywood,” the festival's executive director Mystelle Brabbée said in a statement. “From the impactful words Leslie Dixon has brought to the screen, to the hilarious sketches from Jane Curtin, Anne Beatts, Sudi Green and Sarah Schneider of SNL, who have been pioneers for women in comedy, we look forward to highlighting the evolution of female voices over the last four decades.”
