Some See Horns on Trump's 'Time' Person of the Year Cover

"Horns. They gave him horns."

After the initial Time selection of Donald Trump for Person of the Year ricocheted throughout social media forums, one observation kept popping up: apparent "horns" formed by the magazine's "M" over the president-elect's head.

In the photo, Trump is seen sitting in a chair turned toward the photographer, placed under the "M." Actress Alyssa Milano was one of the many who noticed the design and pointed it out to her almost 3 million Twitter followers. "Horns. They gave him horns," she tweeted.

Time dismissed the horn assessment and pointed to 35 other covers on which the "M" was partially blocked by someone's head.

"Any resemblance to cats, bats or devil horns is entirely coincidental," Time said in a short post about the issue.
