Britney Spears celebrates achievements in LGBTQ community at the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards Los Angeles, in partnership with LGBTQ ally, Ketel One Family-Made Vodka at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on April 12, 2018 in Beverly Hills, California.

The musical is set for a Broadway run after a world premiere in Chicago this fall.

Sony has landed film rights to the fairy tale musical Once Upon a One More Time, which features the music of Britney Spears.

The musical introduces feminism to classic fairy tales. When Cinderella, Snow White and other storybook princesses meet for book club, they are given copies of The Feminine Mystique by a fairy godmother, prompting an internal revolution.

Once Upon a One More Time, which is set for a Broadway run after a world premiere in Chicago this fall, features songs like "Oops I Did It Again," "Lucky" and "Toxic." Jon Hartmere wrote the book, and Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages) is directing.

Spears is attached to produce the film adaptation, along with manager Larry Rudolph and John Davis’ Davis Entertainment.

CAA was behind the deal.
