"Two people have suffered stab injuries — their conditions are not life-threatening or life-changing," say London police.

Two people were stabbed during an incident at Sony Music’s London headquarters on Friday, with both getting arrested.

"Two members of the catering team were involved in a violent altercation," Sony Music said in a statement.

"Police were called at approximately 1100hrs on Friday, 2 November to reports of an incident on Derry Street," London police said. "Officers, including firearms officers, and London Ambulance Service are in attendance. Evacuations have taken place as a precaution."

It also highlighted: "Two men aged 25 [A] and 36 [B] were found suffering from stab injuries. They were both arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm." Police added: "It is not being treated as terror related."

"Thankfully, this was not a firearms incident, but the initial reports indicated that there had been gunfire and there may have been an active shooter on the scene," Metropolitan Police Commander Kyle Gordon said in a statement. "The response was immediate — within eight minutes of the first call coming in, firearms officers, who had joined local officers already on the scene, had entered the building to deal with the incident."
