The actress takes to social media to document the destruction of her residence in a Lower East Side apartment building.

Like many others on the Lower East Side on March 26, Sopranos star Drea De Matteo suffered tragedy and heartbreak when her apartment building burned down.

The actress owned the residence at 123 Second Ave. for 22 years, before she found fame as Christopher Moltisanti's salty, wise-cracking girlfriend, Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos. As the blaze raged, De Matteo took to Instagram to detail the destruction.

Nineteen people were injured in the accident after workers hit a gas main, touching off a massive explosion. Four buildings were affected: 119, 121, 123 and 125 Second Ave.

De Matteo was recently cast in the cop drama Shields of Blue, executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and co-starring Ray Liotta.
