Sotheby's Reveals Auction Items for 'Lady Blue Eyes: Property of Barbara and Frank Sinatra'

Barbara Sinatra's diamond engagement ring is among the pieces on the block.

Sotheby's has revealed auction items for "Lady Blue Eyes: Property of Barbara and Frank Sinatra," proceeds from which will go to the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center. The collection features 26 pieces of memorabilia from the couple's personal lives, including Barbara's diamond engagement ring and a painting of Frank signed by Norman Rockwell.

Based on Barbara Sinatra's hit memoir of the same name, novelties on the auction block reach to various corner's of the pair's private sectors, including jewelry, film and entertainment mementos, fine art, political fare, sports equipment and furniture. Sinatra residences in Palm Springs, Los Angeles and Malibu provided most of the items. 

The full list includes the Rockwell portrait, "Sinatra: An American Classic"; Walt Kuhn's "Girl With Turban"; Childe Hassam's "Bather and Cloud Reflections"; Tiffany Studios' Peony table lamp; a Faberge varicolor gold, enamel and pearl-set frame; an assembled Dodie Thayer Pottery lettuce-ware part service; a U.S. Drinking Team jacket; Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational blazers; Frank Sinatra's personal golf clubs with customized bag and other equipment; a personalized desk set; a Cyril Castle tuxedo and Di Fabrizio shoes; a concert poster from Frank Sinatra's summer 1950 concert at the London Palladium; a revised final script for From Here to Eternity; two AKG microphones owned by Frank Sinatra; a copy of Profiles in Courage by John F. Kennedy; a ribbon and medal from the Reagan inaugural, of which Frank Sinatra was entertainment director; a four-presidents photograph signed by Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon; a "Happy Birthday" letter from Bill Clinton to Frank Sinatra; Barbara Sinatra's diamond engagement ring; a mystery-set ruby and diamond bracelet by Van Cleef and Arpels; another diamond bracelet from Van Cleef and Arpels; a gold, coral and chrysoprase pendant necklace from Van Cleef and Arpels; Climbing the Mountain by Kirk Douglas; Cagney by Cagney by James Cagney; and two black-and-white photographs of the Rat Pack, featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

Together, the selections are valued at more than $3 million. Sotheby's will host public previews for "Lady Blue Eyes" at its Los Angeles galleries on Nov. 19 and 20, as well as at its New York galleries from Nov. 30 to Dec. 5. Auctions will open across three shows: "Lady Blue Eyes: Property of Barbara and Frank Sinatra" on Dec. 6; "Magnificent Jewels" on Dec. 4; and "Lady Blue Eyes: Online," open from Nov. 27 to Dec. 7.
