"I'll give you my everything."

A second trailer for Antoine Fuqua's Southpaw has been released, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams.

The Kurt Sutter-written film tells the gritty story of boxer Billy Hope (Gyllenhaal) who fights his way to the top to be the best, but sees his personal life crumbling to pieces in the process.

"I put my family through a lot. I wouldn't be here without my wife, Maureen," Billy says in the trailer.

Audiences watch as Billy screams "no no no no!" while Maureen (McAdams) lies on the floor after a gunshot fires. The minute trailer shows Billy trying to connect with his young daughter, who repeatedly pushes him away, and him also entering the ring for a major fight.

"I'll give you my everything," Billy says to trainer Titus (Forest Whitaker).

The film also features Whitaker, Rita Ora and 50 Cent and hits theaters July 31.
