Mexican directors Fernando Eimbcke and Carlos Reygadas are also slated to attend

Spike Lee and Darren Aronofsky are getting top billing as speakers at Mexico City's Tag fest, an annual mega-event targeting young industry hopefuls.

The two-day gathering, which draws leading figures in entertainment and technology, features conferences, workshops, movie screenings, an expo and live music. Last year's guests included James Cameron, Alfonso Cuaron, Steve Wozniak, Moby and Brian Eno.

Cuaron and Cameron shared the stage last year to discuss new technologies in filmmaking and the challenges they faced in making Gravity and Avatar.

Others slated to attend the event this year include award-winning Mexican directors Fernando Eimbcke (Club Sandwich) and Carlos Reygadas (Silent Light), Tangled producer Roy Conli, Big Hero 6 head of animation Zach Parrish, tech whiz Kosta Grammatis and Mexico's Nortec Collective for the closing concert.

Tag runs from Nov. 7-8.
