SpongeBob sells to Taiwan's YOYO

Nickelodeon sells 118 hours to leading kids channel

NEW YORK -- Taiwan's leading kids' channel, YOYO TV, has bought "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Dora the Explorer" and two other Nickleodeon series from MTV International, the companies said Friday.

"Go, Diego, Go!" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender" also are part of the 118-hour Nick content sale announced by Matthew Ashcroft, MTV International's Asia Pacific sales director.

Taipei-based YOYO, a unit of the Eastern Broadcasting Co., first got exclusive access to Nickelodeon programming in 2005.
