COLOGNE, Germany -- German indie distributor SquareOne Entertainment said Wednesday that it has picked up a series of genre titles to boost its 2008-09 slate.

Titles include Barry Levinson's "The Saint," Jeffrey Nachmanoff's action thriller "Traitor," the Sci Fi horror picture "Tell-Tale" starring Josh Lucas and Lena Headey, Samuel L. Jackson-fronted thriller "Blown" and the crime drama "The Air I Breathe" featuring Kevin Bacon, Brendan Fraser and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

To keep pace with the company's expansion, SquareOne President Al Munteanu has appointed Stefan Litka, formerly with broadcasting giant ProSiebenSat.1, to be SquareOne's new CFO.

SquareOne's next release will be horror film "The Strangers," which will bow in Germany around Halloween this year.
