Stephen Colbert Lends His Voice to Waze App

The new 'Late Show' host's soothing lilt will be guiding folks through and around traffic from Sept. 8-22.

"And we're off!"

To coincide with his debut as the new host of The Late Show, Stephen Colbert will be offering his sage traffic advice on the Waze app. 

Colbert takes over from David Letterman on Sept. 8, with George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Elon Musk and Amy Schumer booked as guests for the first week. 

The optional Colbert voice guide will be available from Sept. 8-22 according to The Verge. The comedian follows in the footsteps of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Neil Patrick Harris, both of whom lent their unmistakable voices to turn-by-turn directions in the past.
