The seventh edition of the event to raise money for the organization that presents the New Jersey film festival will feature a reunion of the 'Daily Show' alums.

Stephen Colbert will be joined by fellow Daily Show alum Samantha Bee for this year's edition of his annual Montclair Film benefit, set for Dec. 2.

Colbert and Bee will participate in a conversation onstage at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in downtown Newark for an event entitled "SAD! A Happy Evening With Stephen Colbert and Samantha Bee.” The pair will discuss everything from their comic influences to politics, entertainment and more.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit Montclair Film, the nonprofit that presents the annual Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey, which Colbert has long supported.

Tickets start at $89.50 and go on sale Tuesday to Montclair Film members, Wednesday to American Express Members and Friday to the public, via the NJPAC box office and Ticketmaster.

Fans can also go to Charitybuzz for a chance to win a package including luxury box seats for four, an invitation to a preshow cocktail party and postshow meet-and-greet with photos, the opportunity to join Colbert and Bee onstage for a live trivia quiz and VIP tickets to Colbert's Late Show and Bee's Full Frontal.

Past editions of the annual Montclair Film benefit have featured Colbert in conversation with Jonathan Alter, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart, Steve Carell, J.J. Abrams and John Oliver. The news of Bee's involvement in this year's edition should come as no surprise to those who attended last year's event with Oliver, as Colbert told the audience that he'd like to invite Bee to join him in 2017.

The 2018 edition of the Montclair Film Festival is set to run April 27-May 6.
