Stuart Scott Dead: Hollywood Mourns ESPN Great on Social Media
Celebs including Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Hart joined numerous sports personalities in paying tribute on Twitter
Stuart Scott died Sunday at age 49 after battling cancer, and many Hollywood and sports figures took to Twitter to remember the longtime SportsCenter anchor.
Scott's former colleagues paid tribute to him on air, with the NFL Network's Rich Eisen, who used to share the SportsCenter desk with Scott, giving an emotional goodbye.
"I loved this man — I still love this man — and the fact that he has passed away is absolutely mind-boggling and a travesty," Eisen said Sunday on NFL GameDay.
Along with heartfelt messages, a number of celebs posted photos to social media of themselves with Scott, including LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, Mark Cuban and The Hangover's Ken Jeong.
