Rodolphe Buet will be this year's recipient of the international distributor of the year award at CineEurope.

StudioCanal's president of distribution and marketing is set to be presented with the award at a special reception on June 23 at Barcelona's Centre Convencions Internacional on the final day of the annual four-day event.

"Having also significantly improved the coordination with StudioCanal’s distribution partners, the company now is more than ever able to pull off state-of-the-art worldwide campaigns for their upcoming event release. And we are delighted that we have the opportunity to honor such accomplishments at CineEurope this year."

In 2012, he was name CEO of StudioCanal in Germany — helping it become one of the top five distributors in the country, thanks to films such as Non-Stop, Paddington and Shaun the Sheep — before returning to Paris last year.
