Style nabs off-net 'Supernanny'

Network will debut the show in fall 2009

The Style Network has acquired the exclusive off-network rights to ABC's long-running reality series "Supernanny" from Disney-ABC Domestic Television.

Style, which is getting all seasons of the series to date, will debut "Supernanny" in fall 2009.

"This extraordinary series speaks perfectly to Style's female audience and is an excellent complement to the network's programming lineup. Not only is 'Supernanny' highly entertaining with loads of drama and hilarious personalities, the show also offers real tips and ideas to help families gain control and transform their lives," said Style Network president Salaam Coleman Smith.

Based on a British format, "Supernanny" features childcare expert Jo Frost helping parents with out-of-control children. It is produced by Ricochet Television.
