Jimmy Choo Is Up for Sale [The New York Times]
Jimmy Choo is officially for sale. The luxury shoe brand and red-carpet favorite of celebs including Amy Adams and Emma Stone announced Monday that it "has decided to conduct a review of the various strategic options open to the company to maximize value for its shareholders." German company JAB Holdings acquired the company in 2011 for $800 million and took it public in 2014.

A$AP Ferg's Traplord Brand Partners With Uniform on Socially Conscious Collection [Vogue]
A$AP Ferg's Traplord streetwear brand has partnered with Uniform, a socially conscious and sustainable menswear label, on a new collection of streetwear that gives back. The 10-piece capsule ($55-$179), now available at Bloomingdale's, includes a bucket hat, tees, hoodie, camo jacket and more. Uniform, a label ethically produced in Africa and founded in 2016, operates on a Toms-style one-for-one model: For each item sold, a school uniform is given to a child in Africa who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it, and therefore would be unable to attend school. 

Elle Launches Elle Fashion Now [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Elle editors from around the world are launching Elle Fashion Now, a new platform that will highlight emerging designers from across the globe. Three looks from each designer selected by the editors will make up the 132 ensembles, presented in an interactive platform on the site, and readers will be encouraged to vote for their favorite looks online to compile an international ranking. Voting is open now through May 24.  

MILK Bar to Open on Melrose [Eater LA]
New York's Momofuku Milk Bar (not to be confused with Los Angeles' own Milk or Milk Jar dessert shops) is opening on Melrose Avenue in the space formerly occupied by Baskin Robbins. The dessert spot founded by Christina Tosi is known for quirky specialties including cornflake cookies and birthday cake-flavored truffles. The 4,000 square-foot space comes with its own upfront parking. No official date for the opening has been set. 

Cartier Partners With Net-a-Porter for First E-Commerce Exclusive [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
For its first partnership with an online retailer, Cartier has picked Net-a-Porter. This May, Net-a-Porter will launch the modern re-edition of the Cartier Panthère watch style, which was popular in the 1980s. The 12 different versions of the watch style ($4,000 to $123,000) will be exclusive to Net-a-Porter for four weeks, though customers can sign up to be on the wait list beginning today. Their partnership will mark the first time the jewelry brand has sold their wares online at a location other than its own site.

Amy Poehler to Present Award to Carol Burnett at The Colleagues Spring Luncheon [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Amy Poehler will present Carol Burnett with The Colleagues Champion of Children Award at The Colleagues' 29th Annual Spring Luncheon. Alain Bernard, CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, will also be presented with a "special award." Oscar de la Renta creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia are expected to be in attendance at the event, which is set to take place May 3 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where their fall 2017 collection will be shown. The Colleagues is a non-profit which raises money for the Children's Institute. Tickets are available for purchase by emailing or calling (310) 474-5377.
