Alexa Chung Is the New Face of AG [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Britain's favorite fashion export, Alexa Chung, is moving from AG Jeans design collaborator to the brand's newest face. Chung, who already has two sell-out capsule collections for the denim retailer (Alexa Chung for AG) under her belt, will replace Daria Werbowy as the star of AG's campaigns, beginning with the fall 2016 ads.

Urban Outfitters Inc. Updates In-Store Experience [WWD]
On Wednesday morning, Urban Outfitters Inc. revealed a number of changes that it hopes will improve in-store customer experience. Both Anthropologie and Free People stores will be testing larger store locations, and there will be increased focus on beauty and intimates across all brands. Additionally, Urban Outfitters will phase out its Without Walls activewear shop, folding the pieces in with general men's and women's apparel.

Nike's Self-Lacing Shoes Coming Holiday 2016 [Nike]
The future is upon us. The self-lacing Nike shoes inspired by Marty McFly's Back to the Future kicks, officially will become available to the masses (in three colors, no less) for the holiday 2016 season. The sneakers have a sensor in the heel that automatically tightens when the foot is detected. They also feature two buttons on the outside of the shoe — one to tighten and one to loosen. But there's a catch: Only members of Nike+, the new comprehensive app the retailer is releasing in June, will have access to the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0.

Dov Charney Sues Former Legal Counsel [WWD]
American Apparel founder and former CEO Dov Charney filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Los Angeles against his former legal counsel at Glaser Weil for professional negligence and breach of contract. Charney, who is representing himself in the case, claimed that the firm was faulty in its advisement on matters such as shareholder rights and federal securities laws during his various legal entanglements in 2015.
