In celebration of International Women’s Day, Diane Von Furstenberg on Thursday kicks off a four-day series of open-to-the-public events and discussions at the brand's 14th Street flagship in New York (reserve your place here). On Wednesday, she announced that voting is open (now through March 25) for her annual DVF People’s Voice Award; the winner will be announced Friday, April 13, at the UN Women in the World Summit. The four nominees are the organizations She Should Run, AnnieCannons, A Sense of Home and Fugees Academy.

Victoria Beckham Names New Chairman [Pret-a-Reporter Inboxl
London-based luxury fashion company Victoria Beckham Limited has appointed Ralph Toledano as its new chairman. Toledano most recently headed up Puig’s fashion division and, prior to that, served as CEO of Chloe. The company also announced further expansion plans with a focus on Asia. In honor of International Women’s Day on Thursday, Beckham will be leading a live-stream discussion from London with Facebook vp Nicola Mendelsohn on the Victoria Beckham Facebook page and the Facebook Business page.
